The largest lay Catholic advocacy movement in America.

Founded in 2005, CatholicVote exists to inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of the Catholic faith in public life — in politics, culture, and community.

Who we are

A movement, not a moment.

CatholicVote is a non-profit, non-partisan, lay-led movement of more than a million Catholics who share a conviction: the Church belongs in the public square. We are journalists, organizers, attorneys, parents, parishioners, and pastors — building the institutions our faith and our country need.

For two decades we have produced original journalism, mobilized voters in every state, advocated for life, marriage, and religious liberty in legislatures and courts, and trained the next generation of Catholic leaders. We do not speak for the Catholic Church; we speak from within it, as faithful sons and daughters trying to be salt and light in the world.
