Our mission is to inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of the Catholic faith in public life — and to build the institutions that make that witness possible.
CatholicVote is built on a single conviction: Catholics in America have been called, by Christ and by our citizenship, to bring our faith into the public square. We do not check our beliefs at the door of the voting booth, the legislature, the newsroom, or the school board. We bring the whole of who we are — believers and citizens, parents and neighbors — to every place public life is shaped.
From our founding in 2005, we have pursued that mission in three ways: by informing Catholics about the issues facing the Church and the country; by forming Catholics in the truths the Church proclaims; and by mobilizing Catholics — to vote, to speak, to advocate, and to act — wherever those truths are at stake.
Every campaign, every podcast, every voter guide we produce flows from these three convictions and the Catholic tradition that gives them life.
Catholics have a particular gift to offer American public life: a moral imagination shaped by 2,000 years of reflection on the human person. We help Catholics share that gift — in their parishes, professions, and communities — with charity, courage, and clarity.
Marriage between a man and a woman, the welcoming of children, and the rights of parents to raise them are the foundation of a free society. We defend the family in law, in culture, and in the institutions that serve it.
The First Amendment exists, in part, to make room for the Church. We defend the religious liberty of Catholic institutions, the conscience rights of Catholic citizens, and the freedom of the Church to act in the public square.
From conception to natural death — supporting mothers, defending the unborn, and pushing back on the expansion of assisted suicide.
Restoring marriage as the foundation of family policy and protecting the rights of children to a mother and a father.
Defending the rights of Catholic schools, charities, hospitals, and citizens to act in accord with the teachings of the Church.
Affirming parents as the first educators of their children and supporting school choice that includes Catholic schools.
Producing the news, podcasts, and analysis Catholics need to understand the world we live in — and the choices we face.
Through Zeale and our podcasts, helping Catholics — especially young Catholics — encounter Christ and grow in conviction.
